Misha Green: Bringing the Next Generation a New Reality

<![CDATA[<p style="text-align:auto"></p><figure><img src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/84c03e_e7174d9a1a864715987832b5248ef67c~mv2.jpg/v1/fit/w_1480,h_1759,al_c,q_80/file.png" width="1480" height="1759" title="Image"></figure><p style="text-align:center">Photo – Getty Images</p><p style="text-align:center"></p><p style="text-align:left">Let’s go back to 2001, Simon West, a middle-aged white man, directed the film “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.”</p><p style="text-align:auto">nThen, in 2018 another version of “Tomb Raider” had been released, directed by Roar Uthaug, another middle-aged white man.</p><p style="text-align:auto">nFast forward to 2021, after it has just been announced that Misha Green has been chosen to not only direct but write the sequel to “Tomb Raider.” </p><p style="text-align:auto">nOn Jan. 25, <em>Deadline </em>reported the “Lovecraft Country” showrunner has taken on this new project.</p><p style="text-align:auto"></p><p style="text-align:auto">As the world knows, the massive success that “Lovecraft Country” had with a grade of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.1/10 on IMDb Misha Green is definitely the right person to have tell a story.</p><p style="text-align:auto">nNot only does this announcement bring joy because the public knows this film is in great hands, but it is important because it gives the next generation one thing: a new reality.
